Shared Health-Soins Communs in Winnipeg is seeking a Trades Helper 2 - Carpentry at St. Boniface Hospital to support carpenters with repairs and woodwork, install handrails, construct millwork and walls, and help with stock control.
This role operates in person on days, with a full-time 1.00 FTE schedule. The position requires four years of carpentry experience, Grade 12, and the ability to follow trade requirements and regulations.
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator or designate, the Trades Helper 2 - Carpentry is responsible for: assisting the carpenters with their duties including repairing flooring, doors, windows and furniture and woodwork on walls; installing and maintaining handrails; constructing millwork, walls and partitions; maintaining accurate documentation; assisting with maintaining stock control; and performing other related duties as assigned.
