CC&L Financial Group in Vancouver is seeking a Trade Support Senior Analyst to join a global trade operations team. You will support pooled fund trading, onboard new accounts, and drive timely settlements while partnering with desks, custodians and tech teams.

You will bring 5+ years in trade operations, solid MS Office skills, and a proactive, analytical mindset to a collaborative environment with a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field (Fixed Income, Derivative or FX).
• Relevant education and industry certifications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications.
• Resourceful and able to resolve complex problems quickly.
• Passionate about learning, with a curiosity to understand the why.

Responsibilities

• Support our Pooled Fund Trading process to ensure timely trading of client cashflows.
• Handle trades across our pooled fund offerings and client mandates.
• Work with Trade Desks to ensure efficient trading under tight deadlines, including ADL calculations and T cost analysis.
• Onboard new accounts, products and counterparties in internal systems.
• Ensure timely settlement by managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Collaborate with systems and technology teams to automate and improve processes.
• Maintain and improve Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for supporting our Pooled Fun Trading process. A key process ensuring timely trading of client cashflows.
• The role covers transactions into our broad suite of pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
• Working with Trade Desks, the role takes responsibility for efficient trading within tight deadlines. Including ADL calculations and T cost analysis.
• Onboarding of new accounts, products and counterparties in relevant internal systems.
• Responsible for ensuring timely settlement through managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Working with systems and technology teams to automate and improve processes with new technology.
• Maintaining and improving our Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field. Preferably covering Fixed Income, Derivative or FX.
• Relevant education and industry certifications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
