Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group in Vancouver is seeking a Trade Support Senior Analyst to join our global trade operations team. You will support pooled fund trading, onboarding, and settlement activities to ensure timely client transactions.

You will work with Trade Desks, custodians, and brokers, analyze costs, and help automate processes with new technology. A minimum of five years in trade operations within asset management, plus relevant certifications, is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field.
• Preferably covering Fixed Income, Derivative or FX.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting our Pooled Fund Trading process to ensure timely trading of client cashflows.
• The role covers transactions into our broad suite of pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
• Working with Trade Desks, the role takes responsibility for efficient trading within tight deadlines, including ADL calculations and T cost analysis.
• Onboarding of new accounts, products and counterparties in relevant internal systems.
• Responsible for ensuring timely settlement through managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Working with systems and technology teams to automate and improve processes with new technology.
• Maintaining and improving our Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.

What You Will Do

• Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications.


• Resourceful and able to resolve complex problems quickly.


• Passionate about learning, with a curiosity to understand the why.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The salary rangeprovidedreflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensationofthis position. Further questions may be directedtothe HR team during the interview process.
