Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is seeking a Trade Support Senior Analyst to join our global trade operations team in Vancouver. You will support pooled fund trading, onboarding, and settlement processes within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in trade operations within asset management, familiarity with fixed income, derivatives or FX, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field.
• Experience covering Fixed Income, Derivative or FX is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support the pooled fund trading process to ensure timely client cashflows.
• Handle trades across the broad suite of pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
• Collaborate with trade desks to meet tight deadlines, including ADL calculations and T cost analysis.
• Onboard new accounts, products and counterparties in internal systems.
• Ensure timely settlement by managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Partner with systems/IT to automate and improve processes with new technology.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for supporting our Pooled Fun Trading process. A key process ensuring timely trading of client cashflows.
• The role covers transactions into our broad suite of pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
• Working with Trade Desks, the role takes responsibility for efficient trading within tight deadlines. Including ADL calculations and T cost analysis.
• Onboarding of new accounts, products and counterparties in relevant internal systems.
• Responsible for ensuring timely settlement through managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Working with systems and technology teams to automate and improve processes with new technology.
• Maintaining and improving our Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field. Preferably covering Fixed Income, Derivative or FX.
• Relevant education and industry certifications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications.
• Resourceful and able to resolve complex problems quickly.
• Passionate about learning, with a curiosity to understand the why.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The salary rangeprovidedreflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensationofthis position. Further questions may be directedtothe HR team during the interview process.
