Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group in Vancouver is seeking a Trade Support Senior Analyst to join our global trade operations team. You will support pooled fund trading processes and ensure timely execution of client cashflows, working with trading desks, custodians and counterparties to maintain efficiency.

The role also includes onboarding new accounts and products, optimizing processes with technology, and maintaining data quality to minimize risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications.
• Resourceful and able to resolve complex problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pooled Fund Trading process to ensure timely trading of client cashflows.
• Handle transactions across pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
• Engage with Trade Desks to ensure trades are executed within tight deadlines; perform ADL calculations and T cost analysis.
• Onboard new accounts, products and counterparties in internal systems.
• Ensure timely settlement by managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Collaborate with systems/tech teams to automate and improve processes.
• Maintain and improve Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for supporting our Pooled Fun Trading process. A key process ensuring timely trading of client cashflows.
• The role covers transactions into our broad suite of pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
• Working with Trade Desks, the role takes responsibility for efficient trading within tight deadlines. Including ADL calculations and T cost analysis.
• Onboarding of new accounts, products and counterparties in relevant internal systems.
• Responsible for ensuring timely settlement through managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Working with systems and technology teams to automate and improve processes with new technology.
• Maintaining and improving our Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field. Preferably covering Fixed Income, Derivative or FX.
• Relevant education and industry certifications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications.
• Resourceful and able to resolve complex problems quickly.
• Passionate about learning, with a curiosity to understand the why.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
