What is the opportunity?

The Business & Clients Service under RBC Capital Markets is looking to hire a Trade Support Analyst to join its Market Business Service team. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate booking and providing direct support to all Fixed Income Derivatives, MM/FX, and Corporate Treasury Trading desks. The role facilitates profitable trading and efficient interaction between Trading and the BCS group. The analyst will participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and PIV (Post Implementation Verification) cycles for system enhancements, IT infrastructure changes, reconciliation fixes/enhancements, vendor/industry change requests, and new business initiatives.

What will you do?

• Ensure all trades are input correctly by Toronto Traders in Infinity and Murex, with proper assignment for downstream processing.
• Verify and book all late deals from the previous day.
• Authorize new deals, amendments, cancellations, and buyouts in accordance with policies.
• Input and amend trades in systems like Infinity, Murex, MarkitWire, Bloomberg, and TradeWeb accurately and timely.
• Monitor workflows between trading desks and Operations to ensure smooth processing and identify improvements.
• Manage the Assignment Mail Box, ensuring requests are responded to within deadlines.
• Accurately capture, re-allocate, and assign Hedge Fund Company deals as per instructions.
• Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies on internal reconciliation reports.
• Review and investigate discrepancies in reconciliation reports daily.
• Participate in system enhancements, change requests, and new business initiatives through UAT, issue troubleshooting, and testing.

• Relevant experience with Interest Rate Derivatives and market practices.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Fixed Income Derivatives and ISDA terminology.
• Experience with UAT.
• Knowledge of Murex, Infinity, Swaps Wire, Bloomberg, and TradeWeb systems.
