About the Team: Investment Operations acts as a control point between the Front Office (Investment Management and Trading Teams) and Back-Office Counterparties (Brokers, Issuers). The work is varied and structured in a few-hour blocks of tasks with broad exposure across Operations, Investment, and Trading departments.

About the Role: Reporting to the Manager of Application Support, the Senior Trade Support Analyst will monitor and support all aspects of the Investment Trading function, including trading application user support, daily cash & asset reconciliations, corporate actions processing, trade processing and corrections, securities setup, security master data support, audit support, liaising with vendors for troubleshooting, application configuration, and supporting client groups. The role also involves participating in new product launches and ad-hoc projects.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Operational support and monitoring of all Investment Operations trading systems and processes.
2. Provide front-line support for Bloomberg AIM, Bloomberg PORT, and downstream applications like Eagle and Barraone.
3. Resolve issues with Investment Operations systems, especially Bloomberg AIM.
4. Support daily ETF processes, including ETF Order Approval, Processing, and End of Day Basket Reconciliation.
5. Enhance user experience by understanding business models and rules.
6. Track vendor issues from discovery to resolution, monitor issue logs, and escalate as needed.
7. Use analytical skills to identify root causes, resolve problems, and deliver solutions.
8. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in processes and workflows.
9. Document workflows and review/update documentation regularly.
10. Assist the manager in overseeing daily processes and requests.
11. Support onboarding of new initiatives and projects.
12. Maintain positive relationships within the team through communication and collaboration.
13. Provide responsive customer service and timely follow-up.
14. Offer 2nd level support for overnight system processing issues.
15. Collaborate with other teams to facilitate end-to-end user issue resolution.

Your Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in Front Office Trade Support, preferably in a BUY-SIDE Trade Operations organization.
• Advanced knowledge of BUY-SIDE Trading systems and workflows, including Bloomberg Professional Applications (AIM, TOMS, PORT Plus/Enterprise), BNY Mellon Nexen, and SS&C.
• Knowledge of market instruments and their trading lifecycle: Equities, FI Instruments, ETFs, Currency Forwards, Options, Credit Default Swaps, Total Return Swaps, Term Loans.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel formulas, macros, and VBA.
• Strong SQL/Oracle query-writing skills and understanding of relational databases.
• Knowledge of Investment management, Mutual Funds, and ETF products.
• Understanding of financial instrument data attributes and Security Master data.
• Technical literacy to understand complex issues and communicate them clearly.
• Experience in improving operational efficiencies.
