Job Title: Technology Operations Support Analyst
Contract Duration: 2 years

Location: Edmonton, AB

Job Type: 100% Remote

Job Description:

Are you a skilled technology professional with a passion for capital markets? Join as a Technology Operations Support Analyst and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional investment solutions. As a Technology Operations Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving incidents and service requests for our business users.

Your duties will include:

  1. Incident and Service Request Management: Intaking, analyzing, and resolving technical issues and requests.
  2. Troubleshooting and Analysis: Identifying and resolving root causes of technical problems.
  3. Solution Implementation: Implementing and testing technical solutions.
  4. Documentation and Support: Documenting processes and providing ongoing support for delivered solutions.
  5. Client Communication: Communicating effectively with business users and other technical teams.

Must-Haves:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Calypso, ideally in an operational support role.
  2. Strong financial background and demonstrated experience in capital markets.
  3. Thorough understanding of asset management, public markets, market-traded and OTC products, trade workflow, collateral, and other buy-side fund functions.
  4. General technology skills and an aptitude for problem-solving technical problems.

Nice-to-Haves:

  1. Java development experience and experience working with Calypso customizations.
  2. Intermediate SQL experience.
