Job summary

Accountivity in York Region, ON seeks a Trade Spend/Deductions Analyst to analyze and process customer rebates in a part-time hybrid role. The position is a Temporary - Permanent placement with a salary of CAD 23.00/hour.

The analyst will verify sales data against contracts, ensure correct deductions, and collaborate with Sales and Finance to set up rebate plans in the TSM system in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working on trade spend and rebate programs.
• Strong Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
• Experience with rebate claims/deductions in a client industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process customer rebate claims and deductions accurately.
• Verify sales data and contract rates to ensure correct deductions.
• Set up rebate plans correctly in the TSM system and reflect amounts due to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to timely set up new rebate plans in the system.
• Prepare documentation to support payments/deductions and ensure sign-off.

Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking for a Trade Spend/Deductions Analyst to join their team.

Position Description:

• Ensuring the accurate analysis/processing of customer rebate claims / deductions
• Ensure that rebate claims are accurately deducted by verifying sales volume information to internal sales data and rates of deductions to contracts/agreements
• Ensure that rebate plans are set-up correctly in the TSM system and that the information accurately reflects amounts owing to customers and amounts
• Work with Sales & Finance departments to ensure new rebate plans are accurately set-up in the TSM system on a timely basis.
• Review and assess accuracy of amounts owing and prepare supporting documentation to support sign-off of customer payments/deductions.
• Contact sales team to resolve issues related to inappropriate deductions and obtain repayment of over deductions.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working on trade spend and rebate programs.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discretionary manner.
