Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Mississauga seeks a Track Manager - Wireless Networking with extensive hands-on experience in LAN/WLAN/WAN and Cisco Nexus platforms. You will mentor a team, ensure SLA adherence, and drive global network projects.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN/WLAN/WAN technologies.
  • Proficiency with Cisco Nexus, ISR routers and Catalyst switches.
  • Strong knowledge of ACLs, TCP/IP, VLAN, VRF and IP routing.
  • Experience with wireless devices and WAN optimization.
  • Ability to mentor team members and manage SLA/reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the network team, ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Analyze, design, test, install, document and support global converged networks.
  • Design and support NAC in LAN/WLAN/WAN/VPN environments.
  • Configure IP routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS.
  • Plan capacity and performance tuning for Nexus platforms.

Job Description : Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN/WLAN/WAN technologies

Comprehensive hands on experience with Cisco Nexus (7k, 5k,2k), ISR routers, Catalyst 6500 switches, Wireless Devices (WLC, AP, WCS), Load Balancers, WAN Application Acceleration

Proficiency working with access control list (ACLs), TCP/IP. VLAN, VRF, Port Security, Traffic Shaping, Priority Queuing, Class of Service (CoS) and IP routing

Strong working knowledge of Wireless Technology

Strong analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail

Troubleshooting & Implementation experience in WAN protocols & service providers.

Excellent communication skills.

Working experience across various cisco Routers and switches

Hands on Experience in Load balancers and WAN optimizers

Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.

Job Summary : Troubleshooting & Implementation Experience in core Routing protocols

Job Role : Track Manager - Wireless Networking

Job Responsibilities : Capability to handle the team and mentor the juniors Keep a close tab on SLA and Reporting Analyze, design, testing, installation, documentation, implementation and support of global converged network technologies Design, implementation and supporting of NAC (Network Admission Control) in LAN, WLAN, WAN and VPN Design, implementation and supporting of Wireless, ACS Subject Matter Expert – IP routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS. Design, implementation and supporting of Nexus 7k,5k,3k,2k Network capacity planning and performance tuning and troubleshooting Capable of configuring ISR Router/Voice Gateway, and LAN Catalyst switches. Demonstrate good judgment identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions
