Responsibilities

  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS to minimize fuel consumption.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.

  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.

  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
