Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Edmonton is seeking a Truck Driver (no experience needed). Training will be provided while you load/unload goods and operate straight or articulated trucks. You will inspect vehicles, manage cargo, and relay information to dispatch.

The position requires a valid Class 1 or A Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement, willingness to work 40–60 hours per week, and the ability to handle heavy loads safely.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.

• Able to load/unload goods and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Pay and receive payments for goods.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
