Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and tool drawings.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tools and dies.
• Measure and inspect parts using metric and imperial tools.
• Disassemble and assemble tools according to specs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Pay - $32- $35/hr

Shift - Days

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and other toolroom equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool drawings, and functional requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing tools and dies.
• Measure and inspect machined parts using metric and imperial measuring instruments.
• Disassemble and assemble tools and components according to design specifications.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical education is preferred.
• Additional education or certification in machining is considered an asset.
• Ability to provide a personal toolbox with essential tools is preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
