Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc assists a manufacturing client in the GTA, ON region seeking a Tool Maker for day shifts. The role involves setting up and operating milling machines, lathes, and related equipment to produce and repair tooling components.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of hands-on machining experience and a technical education is preferred. A personal toolbox with essential tools and a background check are required.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical education is preferred.
• Certification in machining is considered an asset.
• Must provide a personal toolbox with essential tools.
• Background check required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and tool drawings.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tools and dies.
• Measure and inspect parts using metric and imperial tools.
• Disassemble and assemble tools according to specs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

One of our manufacturing clients in GTA, ON region is looking for a Tool Maker.

Pay - $32- $35/hr

Shift - Days

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and other toolroom equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool drawings, and functional requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing tools and dies.
• Measure and inspect machined parts using metric and imperial measuring instruments.
• Disassemble and assemble tools and components according to design specifications.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical education is preferred.
• Additional education or certification in machining is considered an asset.
• Ability to provide a personal toolbox with essential tools is preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
