Prime Management Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker (midnight shift) to join our manufacturing client in Ontario. You will build, maintain, and repair production tooling to support safe, efficient operations in a hands-on role.

You will fabricate, assemble, and repair tooling, read blueprints, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime while adhering to safety standards. The midnight shift rewards dedicated specialists with shift premiums and a bi-yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Tool and Die Maker with 3+ years in manufacturing.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker (midnight shift) for our preferred client in metal stamping operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role focused on building, maintaining, and repairing production tooling to support safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair tools, dies, and fixtures
• Perform precision machining using manual equipment (mills, lathes, grinders)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Maintain and troubleshoot production tooling to minimize downtime
• Inspect and test tooling to ensure quality and performance standards are met
• Support tooling improvements and modifications
• Follow all safety procedures and standards
• Operate overhead crane as required

Requirements

• Licensed Tool and Die Maker
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with manual machining equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Experience in steel blanking or metal stamping preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $46.35/hour + shift premium + bi yearly bonus
