Multimatic Ride Dynamics in Ontario seeks an apprentice helper to support toolmakers and machinists in repairing tools, manufacturing spare parts, and daily tool status checks. You will assist with die changes, clean dies, and participate in Kaizen activities.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, current enrollment or completion of trade education, and being a registered apprentice. This entry-level role offers a total cash compensation range of 17.60 to 25.48 CAD per hour, with

• Assist toolmakers with repairing tools, troubleshooting tools, and tool service reports.
• Assist machinists with the manufacturing of spare parts.
• Use tool status sheets to verify tool status on a daily basis.
• Assist with die change overs and loading dies on and off the bolster.
• Clean dies and transferring fingers using die wash.
• PM Transfer fingers & grippers.
• Complete general housekeeping activities.
• Attend school sessions as assigned and meet requirements as laid out by the company and the ministry.
• Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
• Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including OHSA requirements.
• Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities

Basic Requirements:

• Completion of a high school diploma.
• Completion of, or current enrollment in the educational requirements of the trade.
• Must be a registered apprentice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
