Qualifications

  • Assist with selecting supplies and equipment for use on site.
  • Receive, sort and distribute goods to correct locations; keep records.

Position Summary

Tacten is recruiting for a Tool Crib Attendant at our client site, Suncor Fort Hills in Fort McMurray, AB!

Looking for a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced industrial environment? This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and readily available for operational needs. Position Details:

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Rotation/Hours: Regular Full-time - 14/14 rotation, 12-hours per shift
  • All applicants must be local to Fort McMurray

Responsibilities
  • Compliance with ISO or company specific quality programs and the appropriate use of procedures
  • Assist employees in making selections for supplies and equipment; monitor and control inventory levels of materials, equipment and stock;
  • Receiving, sorting and distributing goods to the appropriate location or stock items in the tool crib.
  • Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using a manual or a computerized inventory system.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of the tool crib.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an related industrial setting
  • High level of Mechanical aptitude and experience
  • Solid knowledge of basic hand/trade tools, welding equipment etc.
  • Capability of operating a forklift and holding a valid permit.
  • You will be knowledgeable and proficient in computers and Microsoft programs and work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Other related safety training and IATA TDG certification would be an asset
  • Ability to successfully complete all safety training requirements
