Job summary

Tacten Industrial Inc seeks a Level 3 Rope Access Technician to support our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. You will oversee complex operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and deliver safe, high-quality results for our clients.

Requirements include IRATA Level 3, First Aid, CSO/BSO/CSTS-2020, and a strong safety mindset. FIFO travel from major Canadian hubs is provided, with a camp on site, 12‑hour shifts on a 6/1 rotation. Journeyman status or related assets are a plus.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 certification required.
• First Aid certification required.
• CSO/BSO/CSTS‑2020 certification required.
• Journeyman ticket would be an asset.
• OSSA/ESC Confined Space Monitor and Entry would be an asset.
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
• Self-motivated with ability to operate at a high technical level.

Responsibilities

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques.
• Demonstrate all required skills for a Level III Rope Access Technician.
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
• Assist other technicians as required.
• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.

Position Summary

Tacten is seeking a Level 3 Rope Access Technician to support our client site for project work in Fort McMurray, AB. You will play a crucial role in overseeing complex operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Position Information:

• Start date: As soon as possible (4-6 weeks)
• 6/1 rotation, 12-hour shifts
• Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada
• Camp provided

Responsibilities

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques
• Assist other technicians as required
• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment
