Job summary

Acuren is seeking CWB Level 1 and Level 2 Inspectors to support the Fall turnaround at our client site CNRL Albian in Fort McMurray, AB. This role offers an opportunity in a dynamic industrial environment with growth potential.

Position involves 12‑hour shifts on a 6/1 rotation, fly‑in/fly‑out from Edmonton or Calgary, and on‑site camp accommodations. IRATA and ASME/NDT knowledge are assets for candidate evaluation.

Qualifications

• CWB 1 or 2 certification is required.
• IRATA certificate required or willingness to relocate.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, VIII.Div.1, IX, II, CSA W47.1 and W59.3 is an asset.
• Knowledge of NDT methods (x-ray/radiographic, mag-particle, liquid penetrant, etc.) is an asset.
• Working knowledge of computers and MS Word/Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to recognise discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Observes work in progress to ensure conformance with requirements and workmanship standards.
• Inspects process piping, power piping and structures from verification to commissioning and installation.
• Reviews test and inspection reports and recommends acceptance or rejection.
• Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages.
• Reads and interprets construction drawings and specifications.

• Fly-in/Fly-out from Alberta hubs, Edmonton or Calgary

Responsibilities

• Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
• Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation
• Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection
• Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Requirements

• Required to have a CWB 1 or 2. QC experience is an asset.
• IRATA Certificate required or willing to relocate
