Job summary

Fountain Tire High River is seeking a responsible Tire/Lube Technician to join our established automotive repair team. The role offers on-site work with competitive wages based on experience and opportunities for overtime and advancement.

You will install, balance, rotate tires, and service TPMS, while maintaining equipment and supporting inventory. No prior experience required—training is provided in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-service focus with ability to develop relationships with team and customers.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in tire services and records.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair TPMS systems.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all staff.

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
