Fountain Tire Lethbridge (Downtown) seeks a responsible, safe Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You’d install, balance, rotate, and repair tires while maintaining TPMS and equipment, with training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Completing specialty tire work such as studding, retread, run flat, or nitrogen.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Lethbridge (Downtown),an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an AutomotiveTire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
