Job summary

ONroute is looking for a full-time cleaner to uphold cleaning standards and disinfect plazas, equipment and spaces along Ontario’s highways. The role requires reliable transportation due to plaza locations on the 401/400 corridors.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and outside the building
• Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals
• Picking up any trash and emptying the trash bins inside and outside
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Responding to employee or guest requests
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
• Performs additional duties as needed

Reliable transportation is required as our plazas are located on the 401/ 400 highways, and public transportation is not available.
