Job summary

ONroute is hiring full-time cleaners at our Dutton plaza on HWY 401 Eastbound. You will perform basic cleaning inside and outside, including restrooms, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all interior surfaces; dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and remove litter.
• Clean restrooms: restock dispensers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, mop floors.
• Pick up trash and empty bins inside and outside the building.
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Respond to employee or guest requests.
• Assist other departments to ensure guest service.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

The job:

• New Position: No
• Backfill Position: Yes
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and outside the building
• Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals
• Picking up any trash and emptying the trash bins inside and outside
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Responding to employee or guest requests
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
• Performs additional duties as needed

Reliable transportation is required as our plazas are located on the 401/ 400 highways, and public transportation is not available.
