Citerne Almac Tank International Inc. is seeking an experienced welder to join our on-site manufacturing team. You will read specs, select appropriate welding techniques and operate TIG, MIG, FCAW equipment to fabricate and repair metal parts.

The role emphasizes safety in outdoor, high-altitude and noisy environments, with a focus on quality and efficiency across multiple metal types, including aluminum, stainless steel and heavy metals.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years welding experience.
• On-site work at the physical location with no remote option.
• Ability to read and interpret welding process specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and ensure weld quality.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings and manuals.
• Examine welds and ensure they meet standards.
• Operate flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate brakes, shears and metal shaping machines.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Operate welding machines to fabricate or repair parts.
