Job summary

Robertson & Company Ltd. in Toronto is seeking a Tier 2 End User Systems Support Specialist to join our IT team. This hybrid role requires on-site presence in Downtown Toronto 3 days a week and offers a competitive CAD 95K–120K salary.

You will provide first level user support, manage hardware and software deployments, and contribute to system reliability and recovery planning in a financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft server and client operating systems.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, VMware vSphere, and infrastructure components like UPS systems and HVAC monitoring.
• Experience in a Financial Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Set up new hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.
• Maintain updates, vulnerability remediation, and routine system checks.
• Maintain records of issues, solutions, assets, and inventory.
• Ensure network and server infrastructure is fully operational and secure.
• Verify data backup status and monitor storage capacity.
• Assist with access rights and system usage guidance.
• Coordinate local recovery tests and maintain backups for recovery procedures.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies.
