Job summary

Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) in Mississauga (Matheson Clinic) is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under a Registered Physiotherapist to provide health teaching and exercise programs, and to administer care plans for physiotherapists.

New graduates will receive learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduates from a recognized physiotherapy program or kinesiology is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Build relationships with clients and families/caregivers.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle and a Canadian driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Work with the physiotherapy and occupational therapy team under supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
• Provide health teaching and perform exercise programs with clients.

Therapy Assistant
Location: Mississauga (Matheson Clinic)
Required availability: Tuesday and Thursday - 8:00 AM -3:00 PM
We are looking for a self-motivated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Our PTA will be working under a registered Physiotherapist to provide health teaching, and exercise programs. A successful PTA would be able to administer care plans for Physiotherapists.
If you are a new Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant program graduate, our team provides comprehensive exposure to learning and development opportunities.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will be working with our physiotherapy and occupational therapy team under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
• Provide health teaching and perform exercise programs with clients.
