Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is seeking a Therapy Assistant to join our team in East York on a part-time, community-focused basis. The PTA will work under a registered Physiotherapist to provide health teaching and structured exercise programs for clients.

The ideal candidate can work independently yet collaborates with our physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams, builds strong client relationships, and holds a valid Canadian driver’s license and eligibility to work in Canada.

Formación

• Graduates from a recognized physiotherapy program or kinesiology is an asset.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Build relationships with clients and families/caregivers.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and Canadian Driver’s license is a must.
• Eligible to work in Canada is required.

Therapy Assistant

Open for Parrt-Time Community Role

We are looking for a self-motivated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Our PTA will be working under a registered Physiotherapist to provide health teaching, and exercise programs. A successful PTA would be able to administer care plans for Physiotherapists.

What you will be doing:

• You will be working with our physiotherapy and occupational therapy team under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
• Provide health teaching and perform exercise programs with clients.
