Job summary

Mars Petcare Canada is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Royal Canin PRO division in Ontario. The role is remote with in-field work, requiring about 4 days on the road and roughly 50 overnight stays a year.

You will drive sales with partners, recruit new customers, manage data in Salesforce, and collaborate across business units to grow PRO business. Competitive salary, benefits, and a company car are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of pet nutrition industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement territory coverage plans for optimal account coverage.
• Conduct 85% in-person sales calls.
• Use Salesforce to manage partners and customer data.
• Forecast and build territory sales plan/ Deliver on annual sales.
• Understand territory sales data and develop a growth strategy.
• Attend relevant events annually within your territory.
• Educate partners on Royal Canin and Eukanuba diets and programs.
• Recommend Royal Canin and Eukanuba nutrition solutions.
• Present customer programming and estimated feeding guidelines/budgets.
• Drive recommendations from partners.
• Recruit and source new partner acquisition across working professionals.
• Collaborate with PSRO and Vet Colleagues to drive PRO business.
• Achieve profitable sales growth by understanding customer needs.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and identify new potential customers.
• Collaborate with team to provide insights to regional team.
• Attend events, regional/company meetings, and reporting as required.
• Complete weekly activity, expenses, and ad-hoc reporting.
