Pentair in Calgary, Canada, seeks a Territory Sales Manager to drive profitable growth across a defined region. You will develop distributor strategies, expand project specifications, and convert demand into revenue within commercial and municipal pump applications.

The role demands 5+ years of B2B sales experience in distribution channels, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, consultants, and owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required.
• 5+ years of B2B sales in distribution-led environment.
• Knowledge of pumps or fluid-handling equipment; discuss applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory strategy across commercial and municipal pump markets to achieve bookings, revenue, and margin targets.
• Build, lead, and hold distributors/channel partners accountable to joint business plans and growth targets.
• Drive new demand by influencing engineers, consultants, contractors, and owners to increase specification and preference for Pentair solutions.
• Manage opportunities end-to-end from specification through quotation, order execution, and project close, coordinating internal resources.
• Activate new distributor relationships and expand coverage in emerging markets; follow up on leads from Dodge, RevOps, and AEs.
• Present Pentair’s value proposition to technical and commercial audiences through meetings, trainings, and customer presentations.
• Maintain accurate territory forecasts, pipelines, and activity tracking in CRM.
• Represent Pentair at regional events, distributor meetings, and customer visits to expand relationships.
