The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for all customer sales, support, education, and marketing of all Passenger Car and Light Truck (PCLT) tires in their assigned territories. The TM is also responsible for being the “Regional Expert” on all PCLT matters as requested by management at the instruction of the Sales Director.
The new hire will be working remotely form their own home office and visit clients’ sites in Ontario. Must be able to spend 80% of worktime traveling within the Ontario Region
Key Accountabilities
- Act as primary contact for Hankook Tire to dealer network within geographic area as assigned
- Inform dealers of all essential Hankook programs, policies and new products
- Handle all dealer issues and concerns, maintaining excellent customer service
- Train and work with dealer personnel as required
- Obtain current market information and trends, maintaining awareness of competition
- Prospect new business
- Assist all internal departments as necessary
- Monitor territory performance
- Submit all reports as required
- Attend industry shows as needed
- Any other duties / responsibilities as assigned by Management
- Support customers through the sales and purchase process while handling the administration of – but not limited to : Tire Orders (PCLT), COOP funds & distribution, POP, Advertising, etc.
- Warranty Adjustments, Credits, Trade Show Requests, Special Discount Requests, Product Testing, Signage, and all paperwork follow up required per Hankook policy and procedures
- Required to plan and execute allocation of work time in the field with servicing dealers, dealer sales personnel, and fleet accounts.
- Plan, schedule and participate in special events, expositions, product training, trade shows, dealer or fleet meetings as agreed to by management
- Responsible to manage sales for a specific geographic territory
- Builds relationship with decision makers at wholesalers, distributors, and dealers
- Any other duties / responsibilities as assigned by Management

Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 5 years’ experience in sales
- Ability to travel
- Experience with Excel and CRM tools required
- Must currently reside in Ontario and have a valid Ontario G driver license
