Location: British Columbia, Canada – REMOTE

Preferably based in Lower Mainland or Southern Interior, British Columbia

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking a motivated and customer-focused District Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for MANN+HUMMEL filtration products in British Columbia, Canada. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers in the automotive aftermarket and related industries.

Main Tasks

    • Sales Leadership: Manage and grow sales within your district, meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas and financial objectives.
    • Account Development: Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships.
    • Customer Engagement:
      • Participate in business reviews and planning sessions with customers.
      • Conduct sales training, customer meetings, and fleet surveys.
      • Provide prompt, professional resolution to customer issues, maintaining high customer service standards.
    • Market Analysis:
      • Evaluate market trends, competitive information, and industry challenges to identify growth opportunities.
      • Develop insights into market and customer trends affecting sales and profitability.
    • Reporting and Record Management:
      • Maintain accurate records and communications, including required business forms, reports, and email correspondence.
      • Analyze and manage fleet reporting to align with company policies.
    • Operational Support: Participate in customer inventories, changeovers, and inventory relocations as needed.
    • Travel Requirements: Extensive daily travel within your district, with occasional overnight travel. A company car will be provided for local/regional business use.
Your Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, business, or technical diploma OR at least 5 years of relevant sales experience.

Preferred Industry Background:

  • Automotive aftermarket, heavy-duty, off-road equipment, or related industries.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to meet sales goals using sound business management, customer relationship building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to deliver product training and implement new sales strategies.
  • Up to 65% domestic/regional travel required.
  • Valid British Columbia provincial driver’s license.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM preferred.
