Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd in Lethbridge, Alberta, is seeking a Territory Manager for Construction and Forestry to grow customer relationships and increase sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods within the defined area. The role emphasizes building a strong sales pipeline and promoting rental options.

You will drive new account development, maintain relationships, and meet targets while staying current on product knowledge and industry trends. Travel may be required; bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience in heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; valid driver’s license and passport required.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • New account creation and development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential Customers.
  • Achieve Sales targets as set out by the Company.
  • Continuous development of a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future Customer opportunities.
  • Promote & sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
  • Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
  • Understand and apply Machine and Company Feature, Advantage, Benefit statements to drive sales success.
  • Deliver continuous Prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Actively participate in and promote Brandt during industry events as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations.
  • Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis. Lost sales reports are to be filled out on all lost sales and submitted on a weekly basis to the manager.

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Lethbridge location.

The Territory Manager - Construction and Forestry role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods.

What You Will Be Responsible For

What We Look For
  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
