Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking an Area Field Manager in the Waterloo region to drive growth with independent dealers. You will prospect, train dealers, manage route P&L, and ensure equipment is properly displayed and serviced.

Candidates need a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, ability to obtain a DOT health certificate, and willingness to work outdoors and travel within the route. The role offers benefits, training through U-Haul University, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to obtain a D.O.T. health certificate from a federally registered medical examiner.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, open and grow U-Haul dealerships within your route.
• Develop and manage relationships with small business owners and dealers; train and educate on growth areas.
• Manage route P&L to grow business by providing products and services.
• Service and maintain equipment and displays for operations.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure dealership success.
• Operate a service vehicle; perform minor repairs; arrange recoveries.
• Participate in U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
