Job summary

Ski Marmot Basin in Jasper, Alberta seeks an Assistant Terrain Park Supervisor to join the Mountain Operations team. You will assist in training staff, supervise terrain park operations, and ensure safety and compliance with CSIA/CASI standards.

The role is full-time seasonal, outdoor work in varied weather; you will coordinate with other departments, manage schedules, and maintain records and groomed features.

Qualifications

• Experience in Terrain Park operations and staff training.
• Familiarity with CSIA/CASI resources and standards.
• Ability to manage staff schedules and payroll.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan the layout and construction of Terrain Parks with the Terrain Park Supervisor.
• Maintain and test features, signage, and fencing per guidelines.
• Coordinate grooming/snowmaking needs with the Grooming Supervisor.
• Assist Safety Operations with Terrain Park emergencies and incidents.
• Supervise staff, manage performance and payroll in the supervisor’s absence.
• Keep departmental records and materials inventory up to date.
• Ensure open/close procedures are followed daily.
