Job summary

Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia is seeking Terrain Park Assistants to perform setup and maintenance on terrain park features and to help ensure safety and proper operation of the park. This role requires physical presence at the Sun Peaks location and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

You will coordinate with the grooming team, keep daily maintenance reports, and follow risk management practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Terrain Park features and trends.
• Knowledge of risk management for Terrain Parks.
• Terrain Park maintenance experience.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Terrain Park; remain in radio contact at all times.
• Ensure proper risk management for the Terrain Park.
• Punctuality to scheduled shift.
• Work in co-ordination with grooming department to ensure park is properly maintained.
• Daily maintenance reports to be completed throughout shift.
• Keep Supervisor advised daily of all activities in the Terrain Park.
• Approved Ski Helmet required when working on snow.
• Personal communication device use Not Permitted during working hours.
