Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems seeks a reliable Terminal Clerk to support daily administrative and dispatch functions at the New Glasgow terminal. The role focuses on accurate data entry, driver check-in/out, and timely delivery reporting to ensure high service levels.

You will coordinate with drivers and internal teams, manage POD compliance, and assist with AR transactions and daily deposits. A proactive, detail-oriented candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Industry-related experience preferred.
• CITT or similar credentials are assets.
• Experience with TMW Systems and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate data entry for terminal operations.
• Check-in and check-out drivers efficiently to maintain flow.
• Prepare and distribute On-Time Delivery reports and maintain POD compliance.
• Coordinate dispatch activities and communicate expectations to drivers.
• Process AR transactions and cash collections, and handle terminal deposits.
• Support OS&D processes and dock checks, including file scanning and filing.
• Collaborate with Dispatch, Dock, Drivers and other departments to meet customer requirements.
• Escalate issues to Terminal Manager or Supervisor as needed.
