Placements24 is seeking a passionate Tennis Coach with a specialization in Junior Development in Kimberley. You will design training programs, coach young players, and create a positive learning environment to nurture talent.

You will lead structured drills, match play, and mental conditioning, guiding athletes toward reaching their full potential while fostering sportsmanship and confidence.

Formación

• Proven experience as a tennis coach with a focus on junior development.
• Coaching certifications or equivalent qualifications.
• Excellent understanding of tennis techniques, rules and training methodologies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for junior players of all levels.
• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions focusing on technique, strategy, and conditioning.
• Assess player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Organise players for local and regional tournaments.
• Foster a positive, motivating and disciplined training environment.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Tennis Coach with a specialization in Junior Development to join a renowned tennis academy in Kimberley . This role involves coaching aspiring young players, designing effective training programs, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages skill development, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. You will work with players of various ages and skill levels, guiding them through structured drills, match play, and mental conditioning to help them reach their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for a coach dedicated to nurturing the next generation of tennis talent in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive tennis training programs for junior players of all levels.
• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions focusing on technique, strategy, and physical conditioning.
• Assess player performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
• Organise and accompany players to local and regional tournaments.
• Foster a positive, motivating, and disciplined training environment.
• Educate players on sportsmanship, fair play, and the mental aspects of tennis.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a tennis coach , with a strong focus on junior development.
• Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., Tennis South Africa coaching qualifications).
• Excellent understanding of tennis techniques, rules, and training methodologies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Ability to connect with young athletes and create an engaging learning experience.
