Summary

The Tenant Services Coordinator supports BGIS clients by coordinating small-scale maintenance projects, workspace changes, design services, and office services. This role also involves resolving tenant issues related to service projects, and managing scope, specifications, tendering, financial administration, and contractor performance for tenant and base building projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and validate service requests via phone, email, or in person, maintaining work order tracking.
  • Coordinate BGIS and subcontracted teams to deliver tenant services within scope.
  • Assist Facility Managers with small-scale tenant service projects, including contractor selection, performance monitoring, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Review contract work, report discrepancies, and coordinate purchase orders.
  • Interpret client work processes, workplace culture, and policies to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

  • High school diploma plus technical or business coursework.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent client management and customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of project delivery and tendering processes.
  • General understanding of commercial building systems or construction.
  • Organizational, coordination, and documentation skills with multitasking ability.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Contract interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD is an asset.
  • Experience related to facility management, infrastructure, or relevant industry sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email software.

Licenses & Professional Accreditation

  • Valid driver’s license, if required.
