We’re representing a leading real estate development and investment firm that’s adding a Tenant Construction Manager to their growing Calgary team. This is a high-impact role supporting the delivery of commercial tenant fit-outs across retail and light industrial spaces.

As the Tenant Construction Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring spaces are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with both landlord and tenant expectations. From scope development through to turnover, you’ll manage contractors, consultants, and stakeholders with precision and professionalism — while upholding the company’s strong reputation in the market.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Overseeing the full tenant improvement process — from design coordination to project completion
• Managing consultant and contractor selection, scope clarity, and schedule control
• Coordinating closely with internal leasing, design, and property teams
• Acting as the owner's representative across multiple concurrent projects
• Ensuring landlord obligations are met while facilitating a smooth tenant onboarding experience
• Monitoring budgets, resolving issues, and maintaining communication with all stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in construction or project management, ideally in commercial tenant improvements
• Strong understanding of base building systems and construction workflows
• Experience working with (or within) real estate developers, landlords, or client-side project teams
• Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and teams in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, and construction reporting systems
• Clear communicator with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
