Job summary

Fanshawe College’s Out Back Shack in London, Ontario seeks aTemporary Part-Time Server to deliver exceptional service, take orders, and maintain a welcoming dining experience. The role involves fast-paced duties, accurate POS entries, and knowledge of daily specials. You may assist across Hospitality areas as needed.

The position requires Smart Serve and strong customer service skills, with at least one year in serving in a full-service setting. Availability for up to 20 hours weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of serving experience.
• Valid Smart Serve certification.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and email.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials.
• Serve food and drinks professionally and courteously.
• Set and clear tables per restaurant standards.
• Process payments and present bills accurately.
