The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporaryfull-time (1.0 FTE) Grade 5 French Immersionteachingposition starting January4, 2027 untilJune 29, 2027, at East Lake School.

Please note that while the anticipated start date is currently planned as posted, it may be revised to December 2026 with minimal notice.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

• Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
• New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.
• External applicantsmust provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.
• The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
