Job summary

Rocky View Schools invites applications for a temporary full-time Grade 8 and 9 English program, Math and ELA teaching position at Ecole Airdrie Middle School, starting November 2, 2026, and finishing June 29, 2027.

The school serves English and French Immersion students in grades 7–9. Applicants must hold Alberta Teaching Certification and be able to provide references; successful candidate will contribute to safe, inclusive learning environments and collaborative planning.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• The successful candidate must provide a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of start date.
• External applicants must provide a professional reference letter from their most recent supervisor on company letterhead, dated within the past 18 months.

The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Grade 8 and 9 English program, Math and ELA teaching position at Ecole Airdrie Middle School starting November 2, 2026, until June 29, 2027.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

• Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
