Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant

Join us for the Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant role at Livingstone Range School Division No 68.

Position Details

Location: W.A. Day Elementary School, Fort Macleod, Alberta

We are seeking two Full-Time Educational Assistants (32.5 hours/week) to provide child support in an inclusive setting. The successful candidates will assist children in meeting their learning goals as per their individual plans.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings
• Ability to build relationships with students and staff
• Training and experience working with children with diverse learning needs, physical needs, and challenging behaviors
• NVCI and/or SIVA training is an asset
• Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent
• Knowledge of American Sign Language and/or Assistive Technology is an asset
• Knowledge of the Leader in Me Framework
