Walshe Crossroads Campus is currently hiring a Full-Time Educational Assistant. The position will begin on February 24, 2025, and will end on June 26, 2025.

Under the direction of our Learning Support Team, the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for students to help meet the goals as identified in the student's learning plan, as well as in-class support for students with Individual Student Plans (ISPs).

Desired qualifications include the following:

• Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibility
• Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team
• Experience or training working with First Nations cultures
• An understanding of trauma-informed practice would be an asset
• NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset
• A passion for working with an ethnically diverse group of students, including First Nations, Metis, and Inuit students
