Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) is seeking a Client Support Worker for Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) to support the settlement, integration, and well-being of migrant workers and their families in Banff, Canmore, and the wider Bow Valley. The role involves individual and group support, rights advocacy, information sessions, and community connection.

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field is an asset; post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
• Experience with newcomer populations, especially Temporary Foreign Workers, is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of local Bow Valley programs, services, and government resources.
• Experience facilitating workshops and presenting, with good time management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate in an additional language is an asset (Spanish/Tagalog preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; commuting and weekend/evening availability may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate initial assessments and one-on-one sessions with foreign workers to identify immediate needs.
• Develop personalized action plans and connect clients with relevant services, information sessions, settlement support, and referrals.
• Advocate for clients with government and community organizations.
• Stay updated on immigration policies and share accurate information with clients and colleagues.
• Design outreach plans, participate in community events, and connect TFWs with employers to promote social inclusion.
• Build partnerships with local organizations to strengthen support networks for TFWs.
• Record client information in the database, collect feedback, and submit regular program reports.
