Catholic Social Services is currently seeking Casual (Replacement) Worker, Community Support Worker in our Edmonton Immigration and Settlement Services office. Providing excellent client-centered care, you are confident, thoughtful, and motivated to achieve success when supporting others in your community. Please note that this is acasual / on-call position with no guaranteed hours.
As a CommunitySupport Worker, you will work closely within a team to support a smooth transition into Canada for our newcomers. In consultation and with guidance from the Settlement Counsellors and Team Leader, you will provide interpretation services to clients in their language. You will interpret for them in orientation sessions and at various appointments. You will also teach life skills and provide hands‑on learning to assist newcomers master the skills necessary to live successfully in Canada.
