Job summary

The Renfrew County District School Board is seeking a Temporary Custodian for Cobden Public School in Cobden, ON. The role runs 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with schedule changes possible during school breaks.

Starting immediately until November 1, 2027, the incumbent will perform cleaning, maintenance, opening/closing, and respond to emergencies under supervision. A high school diploma and custodial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year in the custodial field preferred.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning, flooring, and basic maintenance at the site.
• Open and close the building and monitor security as required.
• Respond to emergencies and contact supervisors as needed.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and waste management tasks.
