Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Driver to represent our image while delivering commissary items to scheduled client facilities. You will load the truck, ensure proper vehicle inspections, and maintain safety and accuracy on each route.

You must hold a valid G license and have a good driving record. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to handle challenging situations, and physical capability to lift about 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commissary items to client facilities.
• Load and secure truck, perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Operate 16' Cube Truck as part of route.
• Work primarily inside client facilities (95% of time).

Job description

How you will make an impact:

You will be representing the company's image at all times by your actions and demeanor and self-image. Responsible for maintaining proper product distribution to client facilities as per Clients and Compass's contractual obligations.

As a Driver you will:

• Deliver Commissary items to scheduled client's facilities.
• Experience driving 16'Cube Truck
• Prior to beginning each day's route, ensure truck/van is properly loaded and vehicle inspections are completed.
• Must have a Valid G License
• Drivers Abstract required - Personal and Commercial
• Lifting approx. 50lbs, standing and walking for up to 8hrs
• 95% of your time is inside client facilities.
• Works well in teams and independently with minimal supervision.
• Police Clearance Check required.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $20.00. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
