Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a delivery driver based in Canada (Mississauga area) to represent the company and ensure proper product distribution to client facilities as per contractual obligations. The role involves delivering commissary items, pre-route loading, daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining a strong safety and service mindset.

The position requires a valid G-License, a good driving record, the ability to lift ~50 lbs, and to work both in teams and independently within client

Responsibilities

• Deliver Commissary items to scheduled client’s facilities.
• Pre-route loading and vehicle inspections before daily route.
• Operate a 16’ Cube Truck with valid G-License.
• Provide accurate driver abstracts (personal and commercial).
• Lift ~50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
• Spend 95% of time inside client facilities.
• Work well in teams and independently with minimal supervision.
• Police Clearance Check required.

How you will make an impact:

You will be representing the company’s image at all times by your actions and demeanor and self-image. Responsible for maintaining proper product distribution to client facilities as per Clients and Compass’s contractual obligations.

As a Driver you will:

• Deliver Commissary items to scheduled client’s facilities.


• Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure truck/van is properly loaded and vehicle inspections are completed.


• Must have a Valid G License, experience driving 16’Cube Truck


• Drivers Abstract required - Personal and Commercial


• Lifting approx. 50lbs, standing and walking for up to 8hrs


• 95% of your time is inside client facilities.


• Works well in teams and independently with minimal supervision.


• Police Clearance Check required.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $20.00. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
