Job summary

Compass Group Canada seeks a reliable Delivery Driver to load and deliver food, supplies and equipment to multiple locations within the area, ensure proper loading, and comply with safety guidelines. You will unload at delivery sites, keep the vehicle clean, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections while following sanitation standards.

A valid license, provincial beverage service certificate where required, and a valid Food Handler Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
• Must possess a valid Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the province where required.
• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Physical ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations
• Ensure truck/vehicle is loaded with all products required for scheduled deliveries
• Unload requested products at delivery site
• Collect empty containers and unsold/rejected merchandise
• Return unused items such as food, beverages, and serving equipment
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
• Keep company vehicle clean and perform pre & post trip inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for loading food, supplies, or other products (such as machines) and delivering them to various locations in an area.

As a Delivery Driver, you will:

• Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations
• Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required to properly service all scheduled deliveries
• Unload requested products at delivery site
• Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
• Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned

About you:

• A valid driver's license and good driving record is required
