Job summary

Vancouver Island West (School District 84) is seeking a Temporary Teacher for Captain Meares Elementary Secondary School for the period of September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. This position will focus on K-12 Prep Coverage and Learning Support, requiring a valid BC Certification and experience in multi-grade classrooms.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, classroom management abilities, and an inclusive approach to teaching. Flexibility in teaching other subjects and an outdoor setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Certification with qualifications and experience at K-12 levels.
